This initiative is designed to foster a strong culture of innovation by encouraging creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking among students and faculty. It aims to empower participants with the skills required to generate, develop, and implement novel ideas through hands-on workshops, innovation-focused events, and collaborative exhibitions. By providing a dedicated platform to showcase innovative projects and products, the initiative bridges academic learning with real-world applications, nurtures entrepreneurial mindsets, and creates an enabling environment that supports continuous innovation and skill development.

EUREKA – Two-Day Hackathon

Outcomes of the event:
The two-day Hackathon – EUREKA, held on 21st & 22nd August 2025, was a resounding success, demonstrating the innovative capabilities of MMEC students. With 22 teams participating and 10 teams advancing to the final round, the event provided an enriching platform for ideation, prototype building, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Innovation in Action: Student Led Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Drive

Outcomes of the event:
The activity successfully demonstrated the ability of students to transform innovative ideas into viable market products. Participants gained hands-on technical skills in product preparation and assembly, as well as practical exposure to sales strategies and customer interaction. Many students reported increased confidence in handling real-world business challenges, improved teamwork, and better time management. Additionally, the event reinforced the “Earn While You Learn” model, enabling students to generate income while acquiring valuable entrepreneurial experience, thus contributing to the broader vision of creating self-reliant and innovation-driven graduates.
